History

Our Chapter
The Iota Xi chapter was originally founded at The University of Chicago in 1990. After leaving campus in the early 2000s, Iota Xi became inactive on campus but maintained the strong brotherhood. In 2019, our chapter was revived by a group of men seeking the same excellence set in stone by our early founders.

Over the last five years, Iota Xi has become one of the fastest growing chapters on campus. In early 2024, Iota Xi finalized a permanent housing solution with the support of chapter alumni and the broader Pike community. Despite rapid change, Iota Xi's S.L.A.G principles and commitment to entrepreneurship and excellence at UChicago remain eternal.
